Life Care Center of Crossville, Tennessee, recently achieved a deficiency-free state survey.
“We are so proud of this accomplishment,” said Cathy Howe, executive director. “We feel beyond blessed.”
To pass the state survey each year, skilled nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. These address not only nursing care and resident safety, but also patients’ rights, food services, administration and the facility’s environment. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
“This team could not be more deserving of such an incredible success,” said Howe. “It takes all of our associates, residents and families to make this survey outcome a reality, and it is my pleasure to serve with this devoted team.”
The center received the results in July 2016.
