Donald Dombrow, a resident at Life Care Center of Crossville, Tennessee, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, has been featured in a national magazine.
Life Care Centers of America manages more than 200 facilities around the country and publishes a handful of residents’ life stories each year in its LEADER magazine. Dombrow’s story was recently published in the 2019 edition.
Dombrow is a Pennsylvania native and grew up during the worldwide economic recession. Although it was difficult, these conditions allowed Dombrow to understand perseverance during harsh times. The perseverance he learned at a young age would benefit him later in his life.
In May 1943, Donald Dombrow graduated from high school carrying a diploma in one hand and a draft letter in the other.
